8 Romantic paths you cannot miss in Santorini

An island famous for its breathtaking views and an explosion of charm; this is Santorini. The dream moments are forever limp there, like a volcano.

Welcome to the Aegean Sea, one of the most popular destinations in Greece. Santorini is an island of Cyclades that can give you moments of mythology as well as superlative feelings with intensity of contrasts. It is located north of Crete, and almost equidistant between the Greek and Turkey coastlines.

Spa in the middle of the Aegean Sea

If you do not have a boat (which will not happen when you arrange your holidays with Sailpaths), then you can rent one or take the boats that leave from Athinios, Gialos or Amoudi to take the Caldera round. Wild, steep cliffs, secret cave churches and old mineral stairs will bring you to the islet of Old Kameni. If you can, dive into the warm waters and enjoy a natural, "volcanic" spa. Alternatively, you can dive into the green waters of the overflow pools at the edge of the cliff, with the natural continuity of the Aegean stretching out in front of you. You could either relax in comfortable sun loungers with cool cocktails or enjoy massage and jacuzzi in the suites.

The black earth with the white washed Caldera villages and the simple Cycladic lineswill make you take the most extraordinary photos. All Social Medias will adore your shots!

Beaches under the nature sculptures

Black sand, red sand and white rocks: here, the beaches are full of colors. In Red Beach, White Beach, Vlychada, Perivolos, Perissa and Kamari, the volcanic land creates immortal artwork. Another famous place is Akrotiri. It is positioned on the southern tip of the island, and so you have an incredible view of the volcano as well as the entire west coast of Santorini, with incredibly friendly locals to help you in whatever you might need.

You cannot miss these magnificent places, as it will be like losing the personal tickets of your paradise. Hammocks, deck chairs, drinks, cocktails, delicacies and everything else you are looking for in your ideal holiday, you will find them on the organized beaches of Santorini.

The small, crescent-shaped island hugs a volcanic caldera that you can visit.Walk early in the morning or afternoon from Fira to Firostefani and Imerovigli, on the edge of the Caldera. In the villages of the Caldera you will meet cave houses on volcanic terrain with a unique architectural "innovation". If you love hiking with a few more uphill and downhill you can continue on the path to Oia, passing through Profitis Ilias, the small church of Stavros, the Black Mountain, which is iris at sunset. The images you will see do not fit into words but maybe only to photos.

Sunset in Oia: myastagogical holidays

Thousands of visitors come here from all over the world and it is an experience that is not described in words. Oia is a small village, previously known as Apano Meria. The Ancient Greek Oia was one of the two harbours of ancient Thera and the main reason for its great popularity is the caldera, which was created after a disastrous volcanic eruption that occurred almost 2,000,000 years ago. The result was the creation of the caldera cliff and for a few minutes, you will feel the energy of the place. When the sun sinks into the Aegean the romantic ambience will leave you breathless and you will take this sunset with you forever. And take a word of advice from us: Get there early! It gets SUPER over crowded around sunset.

On the other hand, there is the sunset of the eminent……If you prefer a quiet sunset, which few know, see it from Skaro of Imerovigli, from Kato Fira or from the lighthouse of Akrotiri. It is a unique sight for your eyes-only.

The colorful Canavas (Wineries) of Finikia

The blue and pink houses of Finikia village face colorful flowers with their smells resembling expensive perfumes as well as the sea view from afar. The old Canavas (wineries) have turned into colorful houses.
